How Google Works? & It’s algorithm

“GOOGLE”, Nowadays this word is used everywhere in an area of the Internet. So, first of all, we must have to know what is GOOGLE & Google trends? – So, the answer is, it is a worldwide search engine. We can search for anything on GOOGLE, and it gives us a helpful answer to us.

[GOOGLE – Global Organization of Oriented Group Language of Earth]. Google is just a word it has not a full form. Because GOOGLE made by the word “GOOGOL”, and It’s meaning is “huge number” that is 1 followed by 100 zeros. Google was started as a college project in 1996. Two students Larry Page and Sergey Brin, students from Standford University. Domain was registered in 14th September 1997, and google corporation was established in 1998.

Also, Google started selling advertisements like Adwords and Adsense in 2000. Therefore, it gives you an amount per click on advertisements. In 2001 Eric Schmidt was appointed as a CEO of Google and now Sundar Pichai is a CEO of Google. Google mail and Google maps started in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Also, Google introduced the Chrome browser in the year of 2008. Now, Google has a number of applications (YouTube, Adsense, Adwords, Gmail, Google Docs).

Furthermore, Google works on a special algorithm for generating a search result. Similarly, Google uses Spiders/Crawlers programs for search engines. Likewise, compared to other all search engine Google has a large number of keywords. Google uses Page Rank to give a relevance score to web pages.

What is Algorithm?

A basic computer program used to get the job done, whatever you want is called “algorithm”. So, let’s take an example of an algorithm:

# Algorithm of Taxi

The first step is going to a taxi stand, then get in a taxi and then give the address to the driver.

# Algorithm of Bus

Seems like a taxi algorithm – First step is going to bus stand, then catch a bus when you want to go.

So, this is the working of algorithm and Google also works like these algorithms. In computer programming, there are many different algorithms to complete any given task. Each and every algorithm has some advantages & disadvantages in different situations. So, Google collects data from these algorithms and give a relevance score to web pages.

S0, Here are some algorithms:

  • Bin sort
  • Bubble sort
  • Merge sort
  • Quicksort
  • Shell sort

Above all, these are some best algorithm for collecting data for “Google”. Google uses the “Panda” algorithm for SEO [Search Engine Optimization]. As a result, It finds pages with high-quality content and gives a higher rank to those pages. Therefore, This is all about how Google Works and this is very interesting.
